I would much prefer more of an earthier tone, such as taupe or sky blue.
Sounds funny, I know, but here's a true story. When I just finished my BA I got my first academic job: as a T(utor)M(arker). And when I handed back my first batch of graded papers -- marked in red -- the Course Instructor said "What? You'll freak out my poor students with all that red pen!"
But, as I've said many times, you guys are great!
